The ACRT Trials were a set of experiments ran by Vortex. ACRT stands for Abnormal Cave Recovery Treatment. The trials were ran to try and find methods for recovering and treating entities that has entered abnormal caves. The program had little success, most attempts at recovery turned up nothing or got more people stuck in caves. Treatment attempts also did not go well, one attempt led to the ACRT Facility #1 incident
